On my recent trip to Japan I discovered I love Japan, Japanese people, Japanese cities, Japanese trains, Japanese toilets, Japanese beer and Japanese food…. A lot. It appears the feeling is mutual as I found my smiling snout plastered on walls, posters and signs around the country.
Oink oink,
Truffle Pig.
I’ll never forget the first time I went into the JAL lounge in Tokyo. John came back from the loo and said, “you need to go to the loo.”
I said, “No, I don’t need to go.”
He said, “Seriously. go to the loo, it’s worth a try.”
I came home wanting one but I don’t think I need the noise that masks bottom music. 🙂
Aren’t they hilarious! I was so overwhelmed at first. In our hotel we had a shower the size of a small bedroom. “Hand shower”, “Head shower” and “side shower” which has water coming out from the walls and you can sit down in it. Crazy. Such a lovely country, I can’t wait to go back.
Wish I was there now. If I could eat at an izakaya every night I would be a happy lady. Love the piggies
