I squealed like a pig in delight when I found out Ali wanted to cook all the piglets dinner. Student by day and super chef by night, unsurprisingly she cooked some seriously scrumptious san choy bow.

Chicken and pork mince mixed with soy sauce, capsicum, mushrooms, water chestnuts, garlic, ginger, chilli, coriander, red onion and spring onion stuffed into a crisp lettuce cup and topped with bean shoots, lime, coriander and ridiculously good fried garlic. You wouldn’t think something that tastes this good could be so good for your pork bellies.

San choy bow is a fun meal to share with fellow pigs and guaranteed to get your trotters dirty with DIY stuff, garnish and scoff. Please come back and cook for our pig pen soon Ali-pig….
